The Invisalign Process
Initial Consultation
Your journey starts with a visit with Dr. Yousefi. He’ll evaluate your teeth and bite, talk with you about your goals, and let you know whether Invisalign is the right fit. We’ll take digital X-rays and photos to get a complete view of your smile.
Digital Scan & Custom Treatment Plan
Instead of messy impressions, we take a quick digital scan of your teeth. Dr. Yousefi uses it to map out each stage of your tooth movement and show you a preview of your expected result before treatment begins.
Wearing Your Aligners
When your custom aligners are ready, we’ll fit your first set and show you how to wear and care for them. You’ll wear your aligners 20 to 22 hours a day and switch to a new set as directed, usually every one to two weeks.
Progress Visits & Retention
You’ll visit us every 6 to 8 weeks so we can check that your teeth are moving as planned. Once your treatment is complete, we’ll give you a custom retainer to keep your new smile in place for years to come.

How long does Invisalign treatment take?
Every case is different. Many patients finish in about 12 to 18 months, but simpler cases can be shorter and more complex cases may take longer. Dr. Yousefi will give you a personalized timeline at your consultation.
Does Invisalign hurt?
Invisalign shouldn’t be painful. You may feel some pressure or mild soreness for a day or two when you start a new set of aligners. This means your teeth are moving, and it usually fades quickly.
Can I eat and drink with Invisalign?
You remove your aligners to eat, so there are no food restrictions. Just brush your teeth before putting them back in. Plain water is fine while wearing aligners, but take them out for other drinks to avoid stains and cavities.
Is Invisalign as effective as braces?
